Japan & Australia

Stompingly catchy pop-punk from Japan’s iconic all-female three-piece musical adventurist group, Shonen Knife. Now in their 36th sugar-coated year of records and world tours. Let’s pop-rock!

When I finally got to see them live, I was transformed into a hysterical nine-year-old girl at a Beatles concert. Kurt Cobain

Featuring original members (and sisters) Naoko on Vocals and Guitar, Atsuko on Bass and Vocals and introducing their newest member, Risa, on drums and vocals.

This event features support from Satan’s Cheerleaders. Satan's Cheerleaders have been peddling their unique, schizophrenic musical offerings in fits and starts since 2005. They return with an album of full band arrangements of the chip-tune music from the classic 1987 Commodore 64 game The Last Ninja.
